Welcome to the Thumbs Up For Scooters album. The event took place on 17th June 2010 in Battersea Park, London.

A great friend of mine lost her father to Motor Neurone Disease in October 2009. It is a truly awful disease which destroys the sufferer's functions one by one while their mind stays fully aware of everything. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to cure or slow the disease. She organised ‘Thumbs Up for Scooting’, an event involving 200 children on scooters in Battersea Park raising sponsorship for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Proceeds from the sale of these photos will go to the charity. I took over 700 and couldn’t possibly put them all up online, so if you do see a picture of your child &/or remember what they were wearing I can search for more pictures of them and email you a contact sheet for you to choose other shots.
